Over the pond
An update following my previous post to confirm the sixth TwitterArtExhibit opens at the Trygve Lie Gallery in New York tomorrow (31 March 2016). The details of the preview event can be found on the TwitterArtExhibit Facebook page.
Unfortunately I am not able to attend in person but if you are lucky enough to be in New York tomorrow evening please do go along to what promises to be the best TwitterArtExhibit yet. Quite incredibly there were over 1000 entries this year. If you do visit the exhibition keep an eye out for my contribution which I was delighted to discover arrived safely (and in time!):
Acrylic and ink on watercolour paper
15cm x 11cm
This is a fantastic opportunity to view work from a huge variety of artists from around the world in one place. With all works priced at $35 (and all proceeds going to the charity Foster Pride) you could also pick-up an original piece of art work at a bargain price for a great cause.
This exhibition is also a reunion of sorts as the very talented Mel Langton has also entered a work. This will be the first time our work has been exhibited together since our GCSE Art and Design college show 20 years ago in 1996!
